If you need an entire 8-page website design, I recommend shopping our WordPress themes. This will save you loads of time setting up your new website design.

Simply add a theme design of your choice to your cart. Then, at checkout, you can add a free month’s access to the DIY Dream Site Membership! If you love it, stay for just $49 per month.

YES – If you plan to move from another site builder like WordPress.com, Squarespace, Showit, Wix, GoDaddy, etc, to a self-hosted WordPress website with the Kadence Theme! NOTE: You don’t have to switch before you join; I’ll guide you through everything you need to know to set up your new site on WordPress.

NO – If you feel like a self-hosted WordPress is not the right website platform for you, I would not recommend joining the membership. You would not be able to use the website templates built with the Kadence Blocks plugin, and you wouldn’t get much value from the website setup tutorials since those would all be about WordPress, the Kadence Theme, and other related plugins.

YES – Do you plan to switch themes to Kadence + Kadence Blocks plugin and want guidance along the way? If yes, this membership is perfect for you!

MAYBE? – If you have no plans to switch themes, you could still find some value from coaching and some of the trainings; however, most of the membership will cover building your site with the Kadence tools. Additionally:

I cannot answer questions related to your specific theme as it’s not covered in the membership.
You couldn’t use the website templates as those are built with the Kadence Blocks plugin.
Many tutorials wouldn’t be relevant to you since they cover settings related to the Kadence Theme and Kadence plugins.

Ultimately, you’d have to decide if you think it would be worth joining without using the Kadence Theme.

If you have a WordPress website built with the Kadence Theme, and it doesn’t need a redesign, you’ll still find TONS of value inside of the membership.

I have a number of 1:1 clients who are planning to join this membership even though we just launched a beautifully designed custom site because they’re looking forward to utilizing the templates when launching new offers, accessing the tech tutorials to easily update their site, and getting access to the coaching calls and community!

If you have a brick-and-mortar store (like a medical practice, gym, retail shop/ boutique, church, restaurant, etc.) and you’re looking to drive local people in your geographic area to your website and in-person shop, I would not recommend joining DDS. Why? Because the traffic and SEO strategies for local businesses are different than what I teach in DDS.
If you’re a local business and you need pre-made website templates, Kadence’s free Starter Kits could be a good starting point. They have tons of pre-made website designs for local businesses.

Launching is just half of the battle. After you launch, the real work begins – marketing!

You’ll shift from worrying about design to worrying about how to get more eyeballs on your business. You’ll have new keywords to research, new content to create, new offers to launch, sales pages to refine, and more. I can guarantee you’ll have questions and need support along the way!

Do I need a Facebook account to access the community/ forums?

Yes. If you want to access our Facebook group, you’ll need a Facebook account.

I debated whether or not to build a community within Facebook or inside of the membership. I know Facebook groups are a common place bloggers and online business owners hang out, so it only made sense to create our own community on the Facebook platform. This may change in the future, but for now, this is the best way to connect with one another.

I strongly recommend that you join us in the group, but it isn’t required.

There may be additional costs as you build your website and online business.

For example, you’ll likely need to purchase a domain name, business email, hosting plan, premium plugins (like a Kadence Bundle, ShortPixel, WP Rocket, etc.), an email marketing service provider (like ConvertKit or MailerLite), premium stock photos, and/or other tools.

Be prepared to invest in the necessary tools your website and online business need to thrive. If you are on a budget, I can show you how to build the site most cost-effectively with a plan to upgrade to more premium tools as your income grows.
