The Homeschool Giveaways redesign was one of our most ambitious projects — transforming a massive 12-year-old website with over 6,200 blog posts into a modern, high-performing, and user-friendly resource hub for homeschooling families.

When Charis Rooks, the new site owner, purchased the brand, she inherited a legacy site running on the classic WordPress editor. It required constant manual coding, had outdated navigation, and lacked a central place for both free and paid printables.

Our mission was to completely restructure the site using the Kadence Theme and Kadence Blocks Pro, creating a streamlined, modern experience that feels both educational and inspiring. We built a custom online store for digital downloads and overhauled the navigation, ensuring that users can quickly find the homeschool resources they need.

“I had purchased the site and as it was 12 years old, it needed updating that was beyond what I could do. It was using a classic editor that relied on a great deal of code. The site is also huge with over 6,200 posts and needed a revamp of the navigation. And finally, I wanted to add a store to place all our printables — free and paid — in one location.”
